Last year me and a couple of friends booked a table at a restaurant in Primrose Hill, had a great dinner and then popped up the hill to watch the fireworks - you can see the ones they let off at the Southbank as well as all the other fireworks around town that are being let off. Afterwards we kicked on in Camden which is just around the corner. I've also heard it's really cool to go down to the Southbank on the Thames where it's a great atmosphere and you're in the thick of things to see the main fireworks.
I heard that TNT Magazine were going to look at putting together a New Years Eve party. Does anyone know anything about this?
It might be too late now, but try and get on a boat on the Themes. You end up seeing all the fireworksk, but you are trampled to death by the crowds. I did it last year and the nice thing is that you can catch the tube home all morning...
Tim the Tourman is holding a party in a pub not far from Embankment - tickets are £20 quid though.
TNT are doing one!! Take a look at www.tntonline.co.uk/newyearseve
i'd stay inside and watch TV.
Try a boat cruise on the Thames. Or stay in with you better half together with some good mates. Get some good food together with some bubbly or champagne if your flush.
